The goal of this section is to give you all the informations about diplomacy in Europe.

Waldkappel : November 16-18

A small and cosy convention in Waldkappel in the middle of Germany and nowhere, where the German face-to-face Diplomacy has it's roots. The right place to meet old friends and make some new ones. It will be the final step of the Vier-Chancen. So come; join Fabian, Rene, André and Stefan; and fight for the victory.

Fossombrone : Marco Ferrari again

The new Italian Champion, Marco Ferrari, won the tournament in Fossombrone this weekend. For his second tournament in Italy this year, Davide finished second followed by Giovanni Cesarini and Gwen Maggi.
With his seventh place, Alex Lebedev succeded to remain at the first position of the CISD and won it. Marco Ferrari, with his two last victories, finished at the second place of the CISD, followed by Giovanni Cesarini and Gwen Maggi.

DiploNam : Laurent Dumont became the new Belgian Champion

Jean-Louis Delattre invented this year the tutti-frutti de Namur, a new manner to organise a tournament. We spent a very good time in Namur to play to diplomacy and to other games. We tried to play a board during the night, but we missed.
Laurent Dumont won the tournament followed by Emmanuel du Pontavice and François Jacquot. Emmanuel du Pontavice won the Tour de Belgique, followed by Laurent Dumont (won in Namur) and Yann Clouet (won in Bruxelles).

Nancy and Vannes : severals games played

Lei Saarlainen organised a tournament during les Joutes du Téméraire in Nancy. 3 boards were played on Saturday. The winner of tournament was Lei Saarlainen, but the most important is a lot of new players participated to this tournament.
Near Vannes, Gabriel Lecointre succeded to organised one game during les 24h de Theix.

Norwegian Diplomacy Championship : November 23-25

Finally, after a long and exciting wait, the new format of the Norwegian Diplomacy Championship is ready. The event is moved from Arcon to early winter, and to a new location.
The event will last from Friday to Sunday (last round to end at 1600), with 4 rounds of c-diplo games played.

French NDC : December 8-9

This year, the French NDC will be the last step of the European Grand and of the Tour de France. The tournament will take place inside Paris, in the hotel "La louisiane". There will have 4 rounds (2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday) with a top board. On Friday, everybody is invited to come to drink something and to play to several games.
7 non-French speaking players will come (2 English, 2 Dutch, 2 German, 1 American) and it will be the final fight for the European Grand Prix, with Stefan Unger, Gwen Maggi, Emmanuel du Pontavice... So don't miss it!

WorldDipCon 2008 : Burg Lockenhaus, Austria

Belgium Laurent Dumont won the DiploNam and became the Belgium Champion 2007. Emmanuel du Pontavice won the tour de Belgique 2007.

Lei Saarlainen won Les joutes du Téméraires, the last weekend. The same weekend, one game was organised in Vannes (West of France).

Italy Italian organizers won the BID for EuroDipCon 2008.
Marco Ferrari won the tournament of Fossombrone. Alex Lebedev won the Campionato Italo San Marinese 2007.

Norway Simen Fure Jorgensen works to the organisation of the Norwegian NDC (Step of the Grand Prix). It will take place on November 23-25.
The Netherland The Final of the Nederland Championship will take place in Utrecht, on December 15. For more information, contact Frank Oosterom.
Each month, Diplomacy's game are organised in the Joker in Utrecht. The next game will be on December 15. More informations on the webiste.
