The goal of this section is to give you all the informations about diplomacy in Europe.

Borås Spelkonvent : Gwen Maggi again!

The danish Champion 2007, Gwen Maggi, is the new Swedish Champion. 28 players participated to the Borås Spelkonvent (Swedish NDC and Swedish step of the Grand Prix), with 9 boards on 4 rounds. Gwen Maggi won the tournament followed by Dennis Andersson and Emmanuel du Pontavice.
Gwen Maggi remains at the first place of the Grand Prix with 6900 points followed by Emmanuel du Pontavice (4025 points) and Stefan Unger (3750 points). This three players will be in Paris for the final step of the Grand Prix and a final fight. The team "La vie est injuste" (Gwen Maggi, Emmanuel du Pontavice, Frédéric Coste) remains at the first position with only 10263 points, followed by "Pizza Mandolino Mamma" (Giovanni Cesarini, Davide Cleopadre, Luca Pazzaglia) with 5952 points and "Tri-Nations" (André Ilievics, Yann Clouet, Alex Lebedev) with 5394 points. The next step will be the Norwegian NDC on November 23-25 and the final step will be the French NDC on December 8-9.

DiploNam, Fossombrone, Nancy : November 10-11

The next weekend, three tournaments will take place in Europe.
- The DiploNam, in Namur, will be the last step of the tour de Belgique. As each year, come to spend a good time with the Belgium players.
- Les Joutes du Téméraires will take place in Nancy (France). Lei Saarlainen will organise it.
- The last step of the Campionato Italo San Marinese will take place in Fossombrone.

French NDC : December 8-9

This year, the French NDC will be the last step of the European Grand and of the Tour de France. The tournament will take place inside Paris, in the hotel "La louisiane". There will have 4 rounds (2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday) with a top board. On Friday, everybody is invited to come to drink something and to play to several games.
8 non-French speaking players will come (2 English, 2 Dutch, 2 German, 1 Norwegian, 1 American) and it will be the final fight for the European Grand Prix, with Stefan Unger, Gwen Maggi, Emmanuel du Pontavice... So don't miss it!

WorldDipCon 2008 : Burg Lockenhaus, Austria

August 14th-17th 2008
Play diplomacy in the astonishing medieval surroundings of Lockenhaus Castle; enjoy the Service of our shuttle from Vienna to Lockenhaus and back again; choose between three different Luxury-Types of accommodation.
In a word : join us at WDC 2008 in Burg Lockenhaus/Austria 14th-17th August.
